BC turns 20mths!!!

Oh my baby boy... cant believe he is in the 20 digits already!!! He is soooooo close to turning 2 it's scary... Mama is not ready for that yet!

What can I say about my little man... he is a BUNCH of fun but OMG does he have attitude!!!! I wonder where he gets it from! (wink wink)

He is all about doing things on his own these days. He likes to put his shoes on and then takes them off. He likes to take his pants off and tries to put them on again (he does a good job and can get them to his booty but then decides its time to get them off again). He likes to feed himself and drink out of a cup!

He LOVES LOVES to draw, play, and read books. I have bins in his room filled with different toys (like cars, blocks, logo's, etc...) and I cant count the times I have to put them all away during the day.

He is a BOY in everywhere with being destructive and messy too! OMG... you should see what my living room looks like most of the day... NOT cute!!!

He is talking a lot more now too. I remember the days when I was a bit worried about this and thinking to myself... that he might not catch on to words soon but BOY I shouldn't have rushed it. Let me give you an example... the other day I went to Walmart to get some fruit real quick... he was sitting in the shopping cart and he saw an ad for water... so the whole time he was screaming AGUA... Mama AGUA.... Mama AGUA... MAMA!!!! I had left his sippy in the car since I was running inside for a quick trip... boy was that a mistake. Then as I'm getting fruit he sees the "apples".... then he started with APPLE... APPLE... APPLE!!!! I almost ran out of the store! LOL!!!

He has also hit the stage of:

- likes to make me run after him

- touching stuff he KNOWS he's not suppose to but looks at me to catch my eye like saying... look at what I got, and then when I run after him he throws a tantrum when I take it away

- I KNOW I'm not suppose to throw food but I'm going to do it anyway even though my Dada and Mama have said multiple times "do you want to go on time out?

- I'm going to break out a smile when I know I'm in trouble to see if it softens Mama up (which it's sad to say but it works most of the time)

- when I Mama says "don't touch" it's like saying "sure you can have it" and then Mama takes it away and he'll look at me, get mad and touch it again right in front of my face so I'm telling him over and over again not to touch it or he will get in big trouble and he does it anyway (this one is my least favorite)

YES it's interesting!!!!! Boy if this is not some of the terrible 2's I'm SCARED to know what's coming!!! LOL!!!!

BUT... even with all of THAT... he is STILL extremely LOVABLE!!!! He is the most lovable baby boy I know. I swear to you the way he touches my face to cuddle with me , hugs me, gives me besos, gives us group hugs and will NEVER forget one of us in the group hug, and the way he reaches for me to HOLD him because only Mommy knows how to make him feel all better... is pretty PRICELESS in my book!
