Update

Things have been INSANE for us but hopefully soon things will calm down a bit... wait who am I kidding!! I'm already thinking of new ways to expand my "Mommy/SAHM skills" and what new things to do with the kids. ;-)

Lets see...

We had to move so I was on a roll with finding a new place, trying to get things moved and organized before the "big move", then it was time for the "big move". Yea... lets just say that I had a couple of "breakdown" moments where I was SO OVERWHELMED that all I could do was cry. I swear I gave away a ton of stuff, sold another ton of stuff and STILL had a BUNCH of stuff! LOL!!! If you know me at all you know I HATE clutter!!! I don't like to keep things and I like to throw away a lot of stuff so you can totally see where my confusion was when I saw the amount of crap we STILL had! It took me DAYS of JUST organizing and putting stuff away but I'm please to say that I'm finally coming down to the last bit of stuff.

This week BC and Sophia came down with a small cold as well. Yeah... perfect timing right??? On top of his cold BC was also teething really bad. I ended up taking them both to the Pedi's office on Wednesday to get them checked out just in case because he didn't want to eat anything, was pooping a ton, had fever, uncontrollable drool, sneezing, and I wont even go into the amount of cranky-ness!!! Good thing it wasn't something serious.

Both of my babies have gained some weight. BC gained a WHOLE half a pound! :) Those of you know that this is a HUGE accomplishment since I've been trying to get him to eat more so I'm taking every little bit I can. BC is now 25lbs. Sophia as I call her whenever she gets weight is my Princess Meatball... LMAO!!!! (Sorry baby girl but you SHOCK Mommy every time!) She was 15lbs 5oz!!!! Holy moly!!!!! I WILL say... I'm IN LOVE with her and ALL her rolls. I cant tell you how many times a day I kiss her ALL over!!!

Big Boy changes... my heart hurts a little as I talk about this but the part of being proud of him is a lot bigger! On Wednesday BC got a big boy bed!!!! I cant believe it. We got him a twin size bed and got him some rails for it. I went and got him some new sheets (nothing fancy... just a little something to match his side of the room for now) and we set it all up. I haven't been pushing him sleeping in it all night yet since they both are still not feeling 100% yet but once Sophia and BC start feeling back to normal we will work on this. I must say... I put him in it the first night and he slept in it till 4am and then came over to my bed.

I also got BC a POTTY and some UNDERWEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it????? He has been showing signs of being "ready" for a little bit now so I'm thinking I'm going to start REAL soon. Again I'm waiting for him to get better (since he has an upset stomach which means LOTS of NOT normal poop :( ) BUT I have started to put him on it and get him use to it. I got him the one that you can put on the toilet seat... it's Elmo and for now he LOVES it and loves pointing out the "fish, ball, Elmo, and water" on it. Well see what happens when we actually try to potty train him. YIKES.... cant believe it's going to happen soon!!!!!

Oh... I have some exciting news.... well hopefully exciting news... LOL!!! Carlos got me a new camera for Mother's day and I'm planning on taking some photography classes this month. The first one is coming soon June 3rd. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be able to start up a small photography business!!!! I'm super excited about it so with God's help I'll be able to start doing this soon. I'll keep you guys updated!!! :)
