Mother's Day

What a GREAT weekend.... Mother's day is only celebrated once a year but I celebrated it everyday with my babies. I know how blessed I am to have these 2 amazing babies in my life and believe me... I do thank God everyday for them.

Yesterday we spent it with my side of the family and boy did we have fun. We each brought a dish over to my Mom's house, the kids ran like crazy outside, and we (my mom, sisters, and I) got to talk and go through memory boxes my Mom had made us.

Today I got to sleep in BY MYSELF... Carlos took BOTH babies. OMG... I cant remember the last time that EVER happened. He's good about letting me sleep in on the weekends but I usually have the honor of doing it with my Princess since she is a BIG sleepy head like her Mama but today she decided she was going to wake up early and hang out with Daddy. My day started off with Sophia puking INSIDE my mouth, I was feeding my son and he decided that with a spoon full of oatmeal he was going to sneeze and it got ALL over me, and then Sophia peed on me which she hasn't done since she was a newborn.... LMAO!!!! It was all part of their "plan" to show Mommy how much they loved me... LOL!!!

Carlos made me breakfast (a bowl of cereal but it's the thought that counts right?) plus he had fed both the kids and Sophia was passed out. I got a letter from each of my babies and they sealed it with their hand prints. LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We also went by the in laws and hung out a bit over there, came back home and I got in my pj's and literally hung out on the couch ALL DAY... I really do mean ALL DAY!!!! LOL!!! I did nothing... no cleaning, washing, cooking, etc... NADA!!!! It was great. The kids even went down to bed EARLY. Fantastic!

I'm sitting her thinking about today and BOY... do I feel like the lucky Mommy in the world. My babies are such a BLESSING and I am the PROUD owner of them. ;-) Becoming a Mommy took me a long and the journey was a long and hard one but at the end of the day.... I would go through all that pain again in a heartbeat.... they are soooo worth it!
