My Princess Throne

For MONTHS I've been working on Sophia's room and I finally finished it this weekend!!! I couldn't believe it when it was finally done. I couldn't even describe to you how PROUD I am of this room. Some pieces where a BIG pain in the butt but it was soooo worth it. I love the fact that I actually MADE or created every single piece in this room. I cant wait till Sophia is old enough for me to "show" her what I did for her.

I was going for a very simple but classic shabby chic look with a mix of Princess of course! :)

Here you go....

The view when your going to enter her room... you can really get a good look at what the wall color is... it's called "pink blush"... very soft pink

Here is the mobile I made her

with her wall letters

the other wall... we got this dresser and mirror on Criagslist for 40 bucks!!! It was a nasty yellow color. Sophia's Godfather made it look like new! Thanks Danny for all your help!

Her closet with all her clothes. I cant take credit for it though... I swear I probably bought her like 3 outfits and got some for her baby shower... but most of them were given to me by Dana and Erin... Ladies... seriously... THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

Some of Sophia's shoes... hey... what can I say... she HAS to have SHOES!!!!

Her bunny with her heartbeat and her doll that her Aunt gave her... her name is Sophia :)

I made these headband holders.... I needed to display her headbands so I figured why not!

The rocking chair and table. This rocking chair took me FOREVER to recover!!

After her bumper was done I ended up replacing the "ties" with this ribbon... I ended up liking this much better then what I had before... see why it took me forever to finish this room?!?!?

up close shot of her letters... I had painted the trim around them to add the gold

This blank was made by my WONDERFUL Grandma for Sophia. I'm so happy that Sophia has one as part of her keepsake collection

She also made her this dress

Here is the chandelier that took me forever to find

close up of her bumper

and the crib skirt

with the lights on

her mobile

I painted the trim pink and then added glitter

The gold drapes I made for her room

and here are the headband holders so you can see them better
