Being Uneasy

So... mama has been SUPER emotional with this pregnancy. I mean I'm crying all the time and honestly sometimes I don't know what to do with myself because if you know me... you'll know I'm NOT a crier so this is new to me. Even with BC I wasn't like this. Daddy Carlos makes fun of me all the time... jerk!

It's hard not to freak out about the baby in the tummy. I mean I know I've done this before but like I said before... the 2nd time around is completely different. Even though you know much more about pregnancy you STILL freak out every once in a while and this past weekend was when "freak out mode" hit me. I mean... I was completely fine but I had a bad dream which had me uneasy for a couple of days and I told Carlos that I just needed to go in to hear the baby's heartbeat... just so I could feel better... I needed it as a mommy!

Monday came and I made an appt with the OB. Dr. Gearity came in and asked me what was wrong and I told him... I just want to hear my baby's hb so I can feel better about things since I had a bad dream I've been uneasy. Dr. Gearity tells me... "the dream wasn't about me right?"... LOL... Nooooo not about you... he goes... "I'll tell you what... I'm going to give you an u/s so you can see and hear your baby". I just smiled. He gave me the u/s and actually just let me watch the baby for a while. The baby was PERFECT... just hanging out and the baby was actually making fun of me by putting his/her hand on the forehead like saying "ayi... mommy... I'm okay... geez!"... LOL! I watched the LO just move his/her hand around and then s/he started to suck their thumb... soooooo freaking cute. I just couldn't help but cry as I watched my LO. I was just SO HAPPY to see him/her. I got to record the baby's hb on my phone so now I can hear it anytime I want. :)

I'm grateful to have such an AWESOME doctor who told me to go in whenever I want and not to hesitate about it. I cant get enough of my babies. :) They both are my world!

10wks 2days

I'm a complete slacker and I haven't posted about my baby belly. I know... sorry BC has been keeping me BUSY!

Anyway... this pregnancy has been completely different then when I was pregnant with BC. On Monday I experience what morning sickness was and honestly I wasn't even sure I was having morning sickness because everything that I had heard was that you puke... well I didn't need to puke. I just felt like I had a nasty taste in my mouth. It was weird... I had waken up from a nap with BC and just felt "not great"... I knew it wasn't cause I was hungry because I had ate just before our nap... I wasn't tired cause I had just taken a nap... it was just out of the blue. So I put BC in his play yard and laid down on the couch to see if it would go away. Nothing... drank 3 cups of water... nada... ate some crackers and had some ginger ale.... still nothing. It finally went away but did come back that night. :( I honestly wish I DID puke so the feeling would go away but nope... not my luck.

On Wednesday I had my first craving too. With BC I didn't have any cravings just ate really healthy like salads and fruit ALL THE TIME!!! It wasn't a "OMG I MUST have it..." it was more like a "I would like to have" and if I didn't have it... I was okay with that too. Well DAMN Sonics commercial!!!! They had some chili cheese fries and a milkshake commercial and that's it... I was all OVER it... I text Carlos to see if he could bring me some when he was on his way home... and he said "okay"... well it was about 12pm and Carlos was going to come home around 6pm... I couldn't wait that long! Carlos called me up and gave me his "secret recipe" and I made some at home.... OMG... BC and I just sat in front o fit and ate... I mean it wasn't cute at ALL... well maybe BC was but I was ALL OVER it!!!! It was soooooooooo DELICIOUS!!!!!!

I have also been having some dizzy spells throughout the pregnancy but it's been good other then that. I must say that so far I think I'm doing good so far. ;)

Okay enough about me... yesterday I had my appt and things went FABULOUS!!!! I was super excited about it because I knew I would get to see the little one again... we were getting an u/s! Carlos couldn't make it to this appt with me cause he had to work but I had BC there and it was great.

The baby is growing on point... actually the baby is measuring big which wasn't a big surprise to me since BC was also. The baby is measuring 11wks so a few ahead of schedule. They did move up my Nucal screen appt due to this but they just said they will keep an eye on the baby. I was soooo excited to see the baby. Heartbeat was 165!

Places to go and things to see

This is BC!!!! Mommy finally gave me a chance to write to you guys again... plus I've been super busy these days. My house is like a whole new world... I get to discover and see things I haven't really seen up close before. I'm crawling and I love it!!!! Can we say.... FREEDOM!!!! Well as much as Mommy gives me... because Mommy has been saying "no"... "don't touch"... a lot to me lately and if she only knew that I'm totally faking that I have no idea what those words mean.... heehee... don't tell her I said that! ;)

Mommy has been catching me getting into stuff and doing stuff I'm not suppose to... I guess I have to work on my sneakiness... but I guess I'll share them with you... ;)

Sweet Boy

My baby boy is the sweetest thing. He is sooooo LOVING. I've been trying to teach him that he is going to have a baby seester or baby brudder soon... I mean as much as you can teach an 8mth old but I really think he understands. Every time I pick my shirt up and show him my belly I tell him... give kisses to the baby... or besitos para el bebe.... and he'll give the baby kisses!!!!!

He's sooo sweet. I caught him on video.... check him out... watch the video and play close attention when he comes back up from kissing my belly and you'll see how he pucker up his lips...

Silly Boy

BC has this new laugh/smile that he does and it's soooooo freaking funny and cute. We call it the "viejito"... "the old man". You know when an old man smiles he kind of scrunches his nose and shows all his gums... LOL... well that's BC new thing. He does it and it just cracks Carlos and I up. He'll do it at random times but real quick so it's SO HARD to get a picture of it. I finally got one today! :)

He sometimes does it and while he scrunches his nose he'll breath in and out and you can hear it... LOL!

Father's Day

Sunday was Dada's (as BC calls him) Day. We had a good time. We got in the pool and then I made a dinner for Carlos and his side of the family.

Carlos didn't get a "real Dada's day" gift since we have to go buy it together but I made him a HUGE Father's Day card on canvas. It was from BC (forgot to take a picture of it so I'll have to get back to you on that) but I think it came out really cute. As for his real gift... BC and the new baby are getting him a flat screen t.v. for our bedroom that he's been wanting for a while so he was REALLY happy with that.

Caught in the Act!

BC makes me laugh. I cant take my eye off him for one second cause he's getting into things or doing things within minutes! I have to tell you that I'm having soooooo much fun with him these days. He's sooooo playful.

Every morning we wake up and I take BC in the bathroom with me and we "both" brush our teeth... well I brush my teeth and he plays with his tooth brush until I'm done and then I brush his teeth and his gums. Sometimes I put him on the floor while I get things together for us to go down stairs and start our day. Well... check out what my son got into... all in about... 2 seconds that I left him alone! LOL!!!
